Tis the season for change!

Hey readers,

It's been awhile. I've been slacking off on writing my blogs; unfortunately, I can't come up with any current events I honestly want to talk about.

I feel like now that the new school year season is in session that it's a time for a change. I noticed that an amount of people are changing their appearances. Whether it be a haircut, new wardrobe, new attitude, rearranging a room; Tis the season for change!

Change doesn't have to be just appearances or of objects. Change can be a matter that's also on the inside. Okay, I know that I'm having an Oprah moment. But it's true! Change is just the new way of carrying yourself or looking at your surroundings.

I think it is important that before you get in the funk of stressing over a hyped up school year you take a bit of time to change the old habits and ways that just need to go. To do so all you have to do is step outside what the norm is to make a change in your lifestyle or persona.

Buy yourself something nice. This is just to step outside your normal, some of you are regular shoppers so you have already purchased a lot personal things. However, it's time to change from what you are used to and try something new. Buy an outfit you usually would be too afraid to wear, paint your room a new color or buy that new bead spread you've been eyeing. Even try a new hairstyle, dye it from blond to brown. Mix it up.

Make it a drastic change or just get your feet wet and make a small change. It can be liberating and you might be able to shake the feeling of anxiety just by sampling a new routine.

Miley's drastic new 'do!

Hey delightful readers,

This just in, Miley Cyrus chopped off all of her platinum blond hair in exchange for a short, choppy pixie cut.

It all started when the 19-year-old singer, tweeted her millions of fans;
"It's happening," she tweeted that Sunday afternoon, minutes after snapping a shot and posting it, the image of her hairstylist about to cut off her tied bun on top of her head. In response to the photo alarmed reactions from her 7.5 million Twitter followers, she quickly added, "If you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all. My hair is attached to my head no one else's and it's going bye bye :)"

By 9:39 p.m. the deed was done: Miley Cyrus, tweeted a photo of her new choppy 'do with a hugely elated smile plastered on her face. "Never felt more me in my whole life," she wrote afterward.
Cyrus seems still content with her drastic cut recently tweeting, "Feeling so happy in my skin."

Critics arn't to keen on her super-punk new 'do. On twitter she continues to defend her rockin' hair style and even quoted her father; Billy Ray Cyrus saying, "opinions are like ass holes, everybody has one."

The real question is what drove Miley to such a drastic hair cut? And will she be able to survive underneath the crack of pressure that critics have on her?

It reminds me a lot of Pink's punk 'do and I think Miley is letting everyone know that she isn't ashamed of being different.

Fall fashion trends

Hello readers,

It has come to my attention that my most read blog so far is, "Back to school shopping." So I figured I should write a blog about trends for this fall season. So you will have a heads up on what to rock this upcoming Fall, so here is a list of all the newest trends that you should strut around in.

Fall fashion trends:

1. Floral print dresses and blouses.(Now you might be wondering where to find these items, well have no fear! I have searched up a few apparel stores who carry such items). Forever 21 has a wide selection of floral patterns for dresses, skirts, and blouses. And most are under $20!

2. The 80's are definitely back, or maybe they never really left. High waist shorts that are torn, frayed, and blotchy have made a statement. Urban Outfitters has a large variety of shorts ranging from: Tye-dye, multi-colored, studded, and bleached.

3. Along with the high waste shorts I previously mentioned, throw on a crop top which come in many varieties. Wet seal and Forever 21 carries multiple designs to choose from. Hi-lows, and graphic crop tops sure are sassy.

4. Another fashion-forward 2012 look is tribal print blouses. Native patterns have made their mark on dresses, skirts, blouses, shorts. Crop top tanks with tribal print is the newest trend and you can snag yourself a blouse from any above stated store, they are pretty much sold everywhere!

5. And of course what is a snazzy outfit without any bling? Chunky flower rings, and bracelets are being taken off of shelves as soon as they are put on. Also look for rings with a cross on them and owl necklaces. Claire's and Icing's has all of these accessories in store!

Fall is almost here and start it off the right way and strut your stuff with a new trend. Thanks for reading.  -Cheyenne

Facebook fanatic

Hello snazzy people,

Breaking News: This is a personal note about my day; I woke up and headed over to my school for Senior orientation. My best friend Jordann and I have every class together, (except for math). This senior year is going to be rad. (:

Today's blog I thought should be based on one of the most popular sites on the Internet, it's a site that is a step up from Myspace. Anybody remember that out of date site Myspace? Nobody goes on there anymore, all you hear is crickets.

The most popular social networking website, so popular in fact the site has over 900 million users is Facebook. Let's get one thing off the table, raise your hand if you have a Facebook addiction...
I happen to be guilty. If you are one of the few people who don't feel the impulse to check your page daily, hats off to you! To be honest I don't check my news feed daily, I check it hourly. I feel so ashamed.

So what makes this social networking site so irresistible to the users? Maybe, it's the idea that we can secretly stalk and admire other users without them even knowing, that's quite an advantage when it comes to crushing on your love interest. Or maybe it's because we have the opportunity to be nosy and know that Joe Bob is eating carrots, so next time you get together you can serve him carrots and he'll think you have so much in common.

Truth is, society is nosy. We find it captivating to know what our enemies, family, associates, classmates, and crushes are doing. Facebook gives you photos to upload, instant messaging, status updates to post, and of course the odd tool to "poke" people, (I honestly don't get that). And personal information to add, so our whole personal life is on display. Kind of unsafe and creepy, but face it we love knowing what the most popular girl in school is doing on vacation in the Bahamas.

Don't feel ashamed if this is you, and you are a Facebook junkie. Facebook is easy access to see the lives of people we are dying to know. If Facebook adds the feature of allowing users to see who is creeping on their profile, our cover is blown. However, you may be normal and actually use Facebook to connect with friends you haven't gotten a chance to see or with Family who lives across the country, all in all Facebook is useful, up to date, and popular. So next time you are on Facebook just ask yourself; who is stalking you today? Creepy, but true.

Thanks for viewing my blog everyone, hope you enjoyed reading. -Cheyenne

These style deals will score you lush outfits and save you a pretty penny for your back to school shopping.

2. Another place to score on new deals is Wet Seal, if you are shopping online they have a buy one get one 50% off on the entire site! CHA-CHING! get plenty bang for your buck and buy yourself a new pair of flats, (I hear that flats are in this season). They also have a $10 top sale, are you ready to shop till you drop yet?

3. H&M has a new line of fashion in, just in time for back to school shopping. They have a Studs & Prints collection or you can drop in and check out their Color Confidence section which has all their latest looks, there's plenty of trend selections to choose from!

The Olympics

Hey you charming readers,
I still haven't officially decided what to blog about, but as of right now I decided I would love to talk to ya'll about current events. I'm not sure where you live or what your opnion is on certain subjects (whether it be political or religious, etc.) But why not dish out my personal feelings on certain matters?!

As of right now the Olympics are taking place, how many of you take time out of your day to watch this intrguing broadcast? Raise your hand...The Olympics is a pretty big deal; it's when other countries get together despite their differences to compete in sports. Of course sports brings everyone together, (unless you're a poor sport.) However, I often find that people point fingers and say, "you lack pride in your country if you don' support the olympics."

Actually, I do not watch the Olympics. I'll catch a few minutes of it sometimes, and my Yahoo account has all the scores updated when I log in. Otherwise I'm completely out of the loop. I have no idea who won which sport, and I have no idea which sports have even happened yet! It dosen't mean I don't support my country, I just don't see the pride in hootin' and hollerin' in front of a T.V all day and get upset when my country looses.

I will say though that there are some pretty attractive men competing, and if any of them read this...Call me. No really in all seriousness, the Olympic's is about all the main countries gathering together to share one love for sports. There's the pride. To fight and shed sweat and tears for something actually worth fighting for. I support any person who spends years of their lives training for a captivating event, that is remembered for years.

Thank you so much for taking a moment to read this little entry. I just wanted to give my personal perspective on this major event. (The Olympics). Please leave a comment if you would like me to talk about anything specific. I'd really apperciate it!

My first ever blog!

Hello world, I am so excited to be releasing my first blog out into the internet world for readers like yourself to read. To be honest i'm not even sure what I will even be blogging about! Like the title of this blog states, "the blabbering blog." That's pretty much all I have to offer you, is nothing but the finest blab a teenage girl can offer.

I'm 16 years young and am about to start my Senior year in highschool. (I'm anxious, but very excited.) I'm a pretty average girl, I fangirl over attractive celebrities, I blast music way too loud, I am insecure like any other teenager is, and I spend way too much time on the internet.

Throughout my days of typing blogs I'm sure you will get to know about who I am even more. You may be wondering why am I here typing this blog, it's summer and I probably should be out with friends soaking up the manifesting rays of sun. However, I'm obsessed with writing so what better way to excercise my hobby than by setting it off in to the world and see who enjoys reading all my nonsense?

So here's to you, my readers of this blabber spot. Thanks so much for going along with me and taking a look through my brain. I hope you stick around to see what other random blab I have to type! :)
